Your own bedroom is a better set than most studios.

There's a reason a lot of people say yes to boudoir the moment they hear it can happen at home. No drive, no unfamiliar room, no waiting for a studio slot. You put the kettle on, we work in the room you already know, and nobody else is there.

The same goes for an Airbnb or a rental. A nice place with good windows gives the session a sense of occasion. It's private for as long as you've booked it. A hotel suite works the same way.

I'm a Colorado Springs boudoir photographer, and I shoot in homes, rentals and Airbnbs. If you're covering travel, I'll go anywhere in the world. Your name is never published.

Good light is the whole job, and most bedrooms have more than you'd think.

It starts with a conversation. What do you want captured, how do you want it captured, and what are the photos for? A gift, a milestone, or a reason to finally feel like yourself in your own space?

Then we look at the place together. We pick the windows, the bed and the corners that photograph well. We decide what stays covered, what you'll wear and when the light is best.

On the day, we use what the room gives us. Nobody needs a staged set, only a place where you feel comfortable.

Most of my time goes into editing, not the shoot. That's where skin, color and light get finished. It's why I deliver fewer photos than a bulk shoot would, and why every one is finished.

A window, a doorway and a room you already know.

A bed, some good sheets and nowhere to be.

The room matters less than whether you feel good in it.

A well-lit bedroom, a bright bathroom or a window nook in a rental can all work. Airbnbs are a favorite because they're private, photogenic and easy to book for a few hours. I'm based in Colorado Springs and I work across the Mountain West, and I'll travel anywhere you're covering the cost.

If you're curious about fine-art or nude sessions, we talk about that privately in our first conversation.

A corner of the bedroom is a whole set.

Questions

Fair questions, short answers.

What does an in-home or Airbnb boudoir session cost?

Boudoir sessions are quoted by inquiry, because the day depends on the location, the time and what you want from it. Tell me what you have in mind and I'll send a quote.

Do I need a nice home?

No. We work with the light and the space you have. If your place isn't right, an Airbnb or a rental can be.

Who books the Airbnb or rental?

We pick a place together before the session. Big windows and plain sheets are a good place to start.

Is it private?

Privacy is part of the planning conversation. We talk through the space, and who will be there, before you book.

Who sees my photos?

Your name is never published. A photo from your session is used publicly only if you sign a model release when you book. The photos on this site show covered frames only.

What can I use the photos for?

Personal use, social media and prints. Commercial use isn't included.
